Lion’s Mane Mushroom "Steak" with Herb Butter

Ingredients:



  • 2 large lion’s mane mushrooms

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (or plant-based alternative)

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste




Instructions:


  1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth, then trim any woody ends.

  2. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden and tender.

  3. In a separate pan, melt the remaining butter. Stir in garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

  4. Drizzle the herb butter over the mushrooms and serve immediately as a side or main dish.
